Entrants 18 years of age and over:
By completing an entry form to race, you certify you have read and accepted the terms and conditions for participation in this event.
Entrants under 18 years of age:
By completing an entry form to race, you certify you are the parent/guardian of this entrant who is under 18 years and give your consent for them to participate in this event. You accept the terms and conditions for participation of the event on behalf of the entrant and declare them as capable of completing the distance they have nominated.
Entrants are aware that they will only receive a medal if they have registered for the race by the deadline date listed on the Virtual Running Events website. Medals are mailed to the address provided on registration.
By entering a race on the Virtual Running Events website, entrants declare they are physically fit and able to participate in this event and are able to complete the distance they have nominated. Entrants are not aware of any medical condition or impairment that will prevent participation in this event or will affect their health by participation.
Entrants acknowledge that this is a virtual run and that Virtual Running Events will not track or verify results or provide volunteers, marshals or medical personnel assistance to any entrant.
Entrants consent to royalty-free use of their name, result, image, photographs, video and comments in any publications and marketing in relation to this event by Virtual Running Events.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions, entrants release Virtual Running Events from all claims connected with participation. Entrants indemnify Virtual Running Events, sponsors, volunteers, and employees involved in this event directly or indirectly against all liability for any and all injury, loss or damage connected with the entrant’s participation.
For an entry to be valid, entrants must complete the entry form on the Virtual Running Events website and pay the entry fee prior to the commencement of the event.
By entering this event, entrants consent to their personal information being:
Used by Virtual Running Events for media publication and announcement of results.
Entrants accept that participation in this event is at their own risk and they accept that participating in this event may involve real risk of injury or death.
Entrants acknowledge they will participate and complete their nominated distance in a manner chosen by them, at locations chosen by them and at their own risk.
Entrants acknowledge that should they withdraw for a non-medical reason, the entry fee is non-refundable.
Entrants acknowledge that the entry fee for the space in the race and not to ‘purchase’ the race medal. The medal is a reward for all completing entrants in the allocated time.
If the distance is not completed within the given timescales, we are unable to store the medal, or send to participants who have not completed the distance within the given timescales. If you are not able to make the distance, please get in touch no later than one week from the start of the event. Should we not receive any contact, we will not be able to arrange a refund due to administrative effort put into your booking, and your portion of race fee being passed to the nominated charity.
If you have submitted evidence and not received your medal within the timescales specified in the “how it works” section of our page, please get in touch straight away so we can ensure your evidence has been received.
Virtual Running Events cannot be held responsible for lost medals in the post, replacements may be considered dependant on stock levels.
Charities:
Each month we choose a nominated charity, to which we donate 50p from every FULL paid entry. Any discounted entries sold after an event is closed, is not subject to a charitable contribution. If you are entering a closed event and would like to personally donate the 50p, there will be a link to the nominated charity on the event page.
International Orders update 27.02.23
When purchasing a medal entry from Virtual Running Events, if international shipping is chosen then you are agreeing at the point of sale that any import/duty charges payable in your Country are your responsibility. Virtual Running Events are not responsible for and will not reimburse you for any charges requested by your postal system in your Country.
